So, you want me to host a server for you and your buddies, hunh? You'll have to reach out to me to host a game. Bear in mind, I need to own the game, AND be interested in hosting the server.
Currently configured games: Project Zomboid, Starbound (Frackin'), Vintage Story.
Palworld
This is probably the most intensive and taxing game I've hosted. Thankfully, it's the easiest to connect to. Palworld is a game that's best defined as "Pokemon, but for adults." Err, wait. That's sets a precident, doesn't it? Unlike themes of "Friendship is amazing." and "You can achieve anything if you set your mind to it." Palworld explores themes like "Is slavery okay if they're not sapient?" and "Let's be honest here, you're giving them a better life. They just gotta work for it."
HOW TO CONNECT: This part is pretty easy. Click "Join Multiplayer game" and then on the bottom of your screen, type in "tek03.sytes.net:8211" in the text box. Click Connect. You're done.
SERVER RULES:
0. Please do not try to break the server. Otherwise, I'll be forced to whitelist the server.
1. Don't be an asshole for the sake of being an asshole. The owner will treat you like one if you are, and you won't like that.
2. Don't cheat the game. I mean, C'mon here, guys. It's not a difficult game.
3. Player Versus Player combat is disabled. Regardless, The "Safehouse law" is still in effect. Don't antagonize another faction or members within your own faction by being a dick.
3b. The general consensus between players is that people are pretty friendly. Talk things through first! As my hero Red/Green once said, "Keep your stick on the ice. We're all in this together."
4. Don't take the game too seriously. C'mon... Look at the little bastards.
5. Construction projects won't disappear regardless where you place it. Please don't go overboard with this!
*~ You may want to strongly consider putting your Pals away when you log off. Time doesn't stop, and failure to do so may result in injured Pals.
6. Other rule changes include keeping your equipment on death, reduced Exp, Reduced Item Weight, and unlimited construction.
Vintage Story Honestly, I don't know much about this game. It's similar to Minecraft in the sense that the world is comprised of 1x1x1 m blocks, but Vintage Story is anything but Minecraft. To connect: Start the game, the game must be purchased from their website. Click Multiplayer, and then choose "Add New Server" in the lower right corner of the menu. The name can be anything. But the server address must be "tek03.sytes.net:42420"
That's it, you're in. Rules are simple...
1. Be kind, please rewind. Server's advertised beyond a few communities. If you see a human, be nice to them. We're not a PvP server.
2. Try not to destroy the world. We've already got something trying to do that.
3. Goes without saying, don't cheat. If you found out how to do it, let Tek03 know.
4. Don't take the game too seriously. It's Minecraft where you play the 'primitive technologies' guy. Work together, set your roles up, sure... but it's a game.
5. Server max playercount is 16. Don't idle and take up a slot if there are more than 10 players. This is subject to change as I feel out how the server runs.
*~ Here's a helper URL for preparing alloys. https://art.twgserver.ru/vsalloys/ by Twistr
*~ Can't connect? Delete your mods and reinstall from this package.
N. If you don't like your class, let Tek03 know. I can run the " /player yourname allowcharselonce " command, which allows you to type in chat, ".charsel" to change your character class.
You can contact the webmaster via discord, Tek03, or via email.
