You’re probably wondering who I am, or what my life story is. Honestly, I’m not entirely sure what to put here. Yeah, I talk about myself a lot to strangers, but strangers I’ve never met online? Employers? People who might be evaluating my work? That’s a big deal, Y’know.

I’m Tek. Pronounced “tech”. Zero-Three. Three’s a funny number. It seems to pop up in so many parts of my life. Just like how technology has integrated itself so much in the human ecosystem. It’s a combination of two completely unavoidable things.

I’m Canadian. I’ve got a love-hate relationship with technology. I love the video-game industry and it’s various shake-ups, and I’ve got a background in tech and security. I’m looking into the Godot Engine and Cybersecurity, but I don’t believe I’m particularly good at either.

Y’see. I’ve got crippling self-worth issues.

Mentally, I’m in a strange space. I enlisted in our military for a while, and I had a year-long blackout period due to medical malpractice. When I “woke up” in November if ‘24, I felt like I woke in a strange new world. Technology and AI had shifted to become far worse. My unruly neighbours to the south showed their true colours, and… the Silver lining? I owned a house. Wild how that works out. I’ve been maintaining a presence in VRChat, as well as discovering new things in the real world. Human creativity also knows no bounds.

I enjoy games of all sorts. I want to make my own TTRPG, and a CRPG. But to do all of this, I’m going to need to learn a lot. If I’m to survive on my own in this strange, false reality, I won’t have much of a choice but to adapt.

Here’s hoping this old bird has what it takes.

Oh, yeah, the bird? His name is Tassus. He’s a nomadic Avali, a race created by Ryujjin Zero, and available to play in my TTRPG, “’Verse5.” It’s a bit warm for him on the beach, but that’s why he cracked a cold one. He’s kind of a mascot around here. He’s probably the closest thing this greymuzzle has to a ‘sona’. Thanks, VR.
